Become a GET Partner – Shape the Future of Engineering in Pakistan

Join hands with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a proud partner in the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Placement Program—a transformative national initiative that bridges classroom learning with real-world impact. As a GET Partner, your organization plays a critical role in mentoring the next generation of engineers, offering them structured exposure through field training, industry immersion, or skills development. Beyond fulfilling your CSR mandate, this is your opportunity to give back to the profession, nurture future talent, and build lasting national capacity. Together, let’s create a future where every engineer feels proud, capable, and connected—because when you invest in engineers, you invest in Pakistan.

How the GET Placement Program Works (in 5 Simple Steps):

Step 1 – Partner (employer) Registration: Submit your profile, upload documents, nominate a focal person, and sign a MoU with PEC.
Step 2 – Campaign Launch: PEC solely initiates the placement campaign based on verified and validated demands received from approved partners, ensuring alignment with disciplines and infrastructure capacity.
Step 3 – Engineer Applications: Verified fresh graduates apply, select preferences, and submit acknowledgment via GET portal.
Step 4 – Auto Placement: PEC matches engineers with partners based on preferences and seat availability. Engineers confirm and begin their placement.
Step 5 – Monitoring and Certification: Partners provide KPI based feedback and Monthy Attendance. PEC issues QR-based Experience Letters based on successful completion and KPIs.

Let’s empower fresh engineers with structured training and shape a brighter, more competent engineering future for Pakistan!

📍 PEC Vision Behind GET

“Harness the potential of Pakistan’s brightest young engineers through a unified, transparent, and structured capacity-building platform.”

🇵🇰 Together for Pakistan: Empowering Engineers, Building the Nation

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Program is more than a placement opportunity — it is a national mission. Anchored by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and delivered in partnership with public and private institutions, this initiative aims to shape the future of engineering through structured training, mentorship, and meaningful exposure.

We invite our partner organizations to stand alongside PEC in nurturing the next generation of engineers — not just as professionals, but as responsible, ethical, and nation-minded contributors. In doing so, we honor our shared commitment to Pakistan’s growth, sustainability, and global competitiveness.

🤝 Partner Commitments — A Shared Responsibility

  • Appoint a qualified supervisor or mentor for each trainee
  • Foster a safe, ethical, and inclusive professional environment
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety protocols
  • Provide regular feedback and performance reports to PEC
  • Honor seat quotas, disciplines, and placement timelines as agreed
  • Host engineers for the complete field or industry cycle (4 months minimum)
  • Adopt PEC’s learning outcome KPIs and evaluation tools
  • Share required documentation, including:
    • Mid-term and final evaluations
    • Attendance records
    • Engineer feedback forms
  • Ensure GET trainees are engaged in technical and developmental roles — not free or clerical labor
  • Post-placement hiring is voluntary and not expected
  • Join annual PEC-led quality reviews and feedback sessions
  • Report concerns transparently via the Partner Dashboard
  • Misuse of the program (e.g., mismatched roles, unreported exits, or quota violations) may lead to suspension from PEC’s Approved Partner Directory

By fulfilling these commitments, partners not only enhance their institutional impact but also contribute directly to the national cause — empowering Pakistani engineers to thrive with dignity, competence, and purpose.

🌟 Together, let’s invest in talent, inspire trust, and build the Pakistan we all believe in.
