Ensure Your RE Registration with PEC Before the Deadline

(This is not a call for registration to the GET Program)

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) reminds all engineering graduates of the years 2024 and 2025 to obtain their Registered Engineer (RE) certification in order to remain eligible for future participation in the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Placement Program, starting in October 2025.

⚠️ Key Clarification:

🔴 This announcement is only about RE Registration—not GET program registration.
Students cannot apply for the GET Program through this notice.

📌 What You Need to Know:

To be eligible for the upcoming PEC GET Placement Program, fresh graduates must be registered as REs with PEC. Only graduates with valid RE status will be considered for the program.

This initiative will offer six-month, PEC-funded industry placements in:

  • 🏗️ Nation-building departments

  • 🏭 Leading engineering industries across Pakistan

🗓️ Deadlines for RE Registration:

  • ✅ For 2024 Graduates: Register on or before August 31, 2025. (https://portal.pec.org.pk/)

  • ✅ For 2025 Graduates: Apply via your university on or before September 30, 2025 (Pathway to Practice)

🚫 Final Reminder:

This is not a call to apply for the GET Program.
It is only about ensuring you complete your RE registration with PEC in time.
Graduates without RE status will not be eligible for the GET Placement Program.
